What “live” means on this page
The projects above are work a customer can use, or software we built for them. Camper Guard is a companion for RV owners: power, propane, camp setup, and the trip, not a generic community product with a row of empty modules. CampTech is mobile RV repair in East Tennessee. That site had one job, to say that certified techs come to the campsite, the driveway, or the storage lot, and then to make the systems they fix easy to find. RV TechMate 2.0 is the other half of that kind of business: field software for the techs and the shop, not another brochure. The case studies live on their own addresses. We do not present a mock grocer or a sample hotel as a client. If a frame is an example of a direction and not a shipped product, it is not in the live list.
True North Web Design builds both. A public website is the page that gets the call. Custom apps and operations software are what staff open after that: a job, a unit, an invoice. CampTech stayed a website. Camper Guard and RV TechMate are software. We price them separately. A Launch site builds from $750. A platform is quoted when we know who signs in and what the spreadsheet was doing.
A case study here is specific on purpose. CampTech’s homepage answers the only question a stranded owner has: will someone come to me. The service pages name AC, plumbing, electrical, slide-outs, roofs, and inspections, because “quality RV repair” is not a page. Camper Guard had to work on a phone at a site with bad service, so the tools have a job: a power check, a propane estimate, a setup list, a departure list. That is the standard we use when a new business says they want “something modern.” Modern is not a font. Modern is the next action, obvious, on a phone, in the light you actually have.
The path from a first call to a page like those is short. We ask how customers reach you today, which jobs you want more of, and what has to be true before someone dials. A Launch site, the one most service businesses need, builds from $750 and usually finishes between $750 and $1,500. It includes the pages, a structure search engines can tell apart, and a launch that loads. Booking systems, memberships, and custom software are a different quote. We will say so before we fold a portal into a website price. Hosting and care, if you want the certificate, the backups, and small text edits, start at $39.99 a month. You can stop care. The site you paid for stays yours.
We work nationwide from choosetruenorth.com. The phone is (865) 235-1305, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern. A restaurant, a contractor, an auto shop, a venue, and a clinic do not share a homepage, which is why those trades have their own industry pages. Web design, web apps, hosting, and search setup are separate services for the same reason. If you want a technical read on a page you already have, the free website audit scores that URL. It does not invent rankings. After the score, the useful conversation is which three fixes would make the phone ring.
Read CampTech, Camper Guard, RV TechMate, the web design service, or pricing. Call (865) 235-1305 or run the free website audit if you would rather see the current page before you talk.
Questions about the work
- Are the projects on this page real?
- The live list is. Camper Guard and CampTech are products a person can open. RV TechMate is field software for Camp Technologies; the figures on that case study are demo data, not a customer account, and the private app is not linked. We do not pad the list with fictional clients.
- Can you build something that is not an RV business?
- Yes. Those are the shipped examples, and they happen to be RV work. Restaurants, contractors, shops, venues, and clinics are the industry pages. The process is the same: a public site, and software when the job is no longer a page.
- What does a site like these cost?
- A Launch website builds from $750, typically $750 to $1,500. An app or operations platform is quoted after we know the accounts, the data, and the job it replaces.
