Practice websites that say who you treat and how to book
Health sites go stale in a recognizable way. The theme's sample sentence is still the meta description, the old practice name is on three directories, and the hours in the footer do not match the homepage. Patients notice, and so does search. True North Web Design builds practice sites that name the care, the location you actually use, and how to become a patient. Launch builds start at $750. Call (865) 235-1305. We work with practices nationwide. This is a marketing site, not a medical record system, and we will say that on the first call.
The headline should say who you help. A chiropractor, a dentist, a clinic, and a wellness practice do not share a sentence. "Welcome to our office" is the theme talking. Services need their own pages when a patient searches for them: the visit, who it is for, and what happens next. Insurance and new-patient steps belong in plain language. If you do not take a plan, the site should not imply that you do.
Booking is usually a product you already pay for. Jane, a portal, or the front desk can stay. The site's job is to send a new patient there without a dead button. A custom patient portal is an app with privacy obligations. We will not bury that inside a website quote, and we will not store clinical notes in a marketing form. If a form asks for symptoms, we will talk about what that form is allowed to keep before we draw it.
Trust is the clinician, the address, and the hours, all current. Old suite numbers left on directories are a search problem and a "I went to the wrong door" problem. We align the site with the profile you control. We cannot rewrite every directory in a weekend, and we will not pretend we can. Photos of the real clinic beat a stock hallway. Alt text should describe the room, not the camera filename.
Search for a practice is local, with a few exceptions for a specialty people will travel for. We will ask which you are. National SEO copy stuffed with every suburb is a bad fit for a three-day-a-week office. A specialty that draws from several states needs pages that explain the care to someone who has never seen the building. Those are different writing jobs.
The free audit is useful here because the failures are technical and visible: no headline, a theme description, a broken phone link, no sitemap. Run it on the live URL. Then call (865) 235-1305 if you want a rebuild. Care from $39.99 a month covers hour changes and new clinician bios. It does not cover clinical advice, and the site will not pretend to.
If the current site still says the theme name in the description, you do not have a brand problem. You have a site that was never finished. We start those over. The range is the same Launch range, $750 to $1,500, unless you are asking for records, billing, or a portal.
A practice site is not a records system, and we will not pretend it is. Unless you are asking for a patient portal, billing, or a login, the job is public: who you treat, what you do, where you are, the hours, and how a new patient books or calls. Insurance language stays in your words. We do not invent coverage. Locations have to match the profile, including the office that moved. Accessibility is part of the page: the phone is a link, the type can be read, the form can be used on a phone. Photos are the clinic, or none. The Launch range is $750 to $1,500. Records, reminders that touch patient data, and a portal are quoted separately and only after you know who is allowed to see what. Care from $39.99 a month covers a changed hour or a new provider line, not a clinical workflow. Call (865) 235-1305 or run the free audit on the URL you have. Bring the services you actually want listed.
Questions we hear
- Do you build patient portals?
- Only as a separate, quoted app, and only after we agree what the portal is allowed to store. A marketing site does not hold charts.
- Can you match our booking system?
- Yes. We link the system you use and make the path obvious. We do not rip it out by default.
- What does a practice site cost?
- Launch sites start at $750 and typically cost $750 to $1,500. Portals and custom intake apps are quoted separately.
