Home services and contractors
Contractor sites that get the service call
Home-service sites lose jobs in the first screen. The headline is the company name, the phone number is a picture, and roofing, gutters, and windows share one paragraph. The person with a leak does not have time to decode that. True North Web Design builds contractor sites that say the trade, the area you actually cover, and the number to call. Launch work starts at $750. The studio line is (865) 235-1305. Clients are nationwide.
Each trade you want to be hired for needs its own page. A roof repair page is not a window page. Searchers and homeowners can tell, and so can a crawler. We write those pages around the job: what you fix, what you do not, how scheduling works, and what a useful call sounds like. "Free estimates" is not a page. The towns you serve belong on the site only if a truck will go there.
Trust on these sites is specific. License numbers, insurance, the towns, and photos of jobs that are yours. A stock family on a porch does not survive a homeowner who has already been disappointed. Alt text on those photos should name the work, not say "image1." Reviews can be quoted when they are real. We will not invent a testimonial block.
The call is the conversion. Tap-to-call has to dial the phone that is answered, including after hours if that is the offer. Forms are for the people who will not call, and they should ask for the address and the problem, not twelve marketing fields. If you book installs on a calendar, that is an app conversation, not a Launch assumption. We will separate those prices.
Local search is the usual engine here. The Google Business Profile, the site, and the directories need one name, one number, and one set of hours. We still see three addresses and a click-to-call link that joins two phone numbers into a string that cannot dial. Fixing that is part of search setup, and it is more useful than a blog about "spring maintenance tips" nobody asked for.
Storms, seasons, and financing change the homepage for a month. The care plan, from $39.99 a month, is how those lines get updated without you learning a panel on a ladder. New service lines and new cities are quoted, because they are new pages, not a sentence in the footer.
If you want to see the current site's headline, phone link, and indexability, run the free audit. Then call (865) 235-1305. Tell us the trade and the farthest town you will drive. That is the brief.
Home-service sites fail when every trade is one paragraph and the phone is a picture. A roofer, an HVAC company, a plumber, and a remodeler need a page per job they want more of, the towns they will actually drive, and a number that dials the person on call. Storm pages are not evergreen service pages. Before-and-after photos only help if they are your jobs. We will not invent review counts or a financing offer you do not have. The service area should match the trucks, not a circle someone drew around a keyword tool. If you work three counties, say three counties. If you will drive farther for a commercial job, say that once, on the page for that job. Launch builds from $750. Search setup is part of that build: titles, descriptions, one headline, a canonical URL, and a sitemap. Call (865) 235-1305 with the trade and the farthest town. The free audit is there if you want the current page scored before the call.
Questions we hear
- Do you build one page per service?
- Yes, when you actually sell that service. A page for a trade you do not want is worse than no page.
- Can the site cover more than one city?
- Yes, if you will do the work there. We will not generate a hundred doorway pages for towns you will not visit.
- How much is a contractor site?
- Launch sites start at $750, typically $750 to $1,500. Scheduling and customer portals are quoted on their own.

The audit is free. It reads the live page and scores the checks that decide whether someone calls. Or talk to a person: (865) 235-1305.
